[0012] Fig. 1 is a graphic illustration of the percentage change in PASI score obtained during 4 weeks of clinical trial where the efficacy of a preparation according to the invention containing calcipotriol hydrate (52.2μ.g/g) and betamethasone dipropionate (0.643mg/g) is compared to that of a preparation in the same vehicle containing only calcipotriol hydrate (52.2μg/g) and a preparation in the same vehicle of betamethasone dipropionate (0.643mg/g). Fig. 1 shows an efficacy of the preparation of the invention which by far exceeds the efficacy obtainable by the two single component preparations. The change in PASI score reflects in the group of patients treated with the preparation of the invention a success of treatment of psoriasis hitherto unattainable by treatment with commercial preparations containing either calcipotriol or betamethasone, or by alternating treatment with such commercial preparations (cf.) thus proving the advantage of having the two active components present in the same preparation.
