"The Board discussed with RP the necessity of creating focus, making choices and decisions in favour of most important business issues. Make also clear what you cannot do. Over time several promises have been made by RP on his personal Key Performance Indicators, finishing performance evaluations 2008, progress in strategy development and lack/ incomplete and late reporting. Unfortunately none of these had follow-up and are finished. Several elements of RP’S leadership were discussed. Board members offered their support on individual basis, to be called for by RP. RP promises to talk one on one with all Board members in the next couple of weeks. A solution to solve above mentioned offered by the Board was adding a personal assistant to the CEO. RP asked for a discussion outside the Board meeting with 2 members regarding his personal issues. The Boards asks for involvement of the complete management Team of Polyganics in this discussion, the company is more than just the CEO. RP also states he has difficulties with qualitative support of his management team and informs the Board about his proposed decision to replace a project manager in R&D. According the Board this cannot solve the problem and urged the CEO not to make changes in staff. Stability in staff is according the Board of utmost importance."
