The difference between the ANG 62.1 million (or USD 34.5 million) and the now determined value of nil (zero) can be explained by the difference in the assumptions that were used by management of IUH and CUC/CUCH at the moment of the valuation (May 2011), compared to investment in the BOO (USD 42 million versus USD 100 million) and the thereto related maintenance expenses. It is important to realize that at the time of the calculation in 2011, there were only estimates available pertaining to the required investment program and final decisions were not yet made by Management of CUC/CUCH. In 2014, these investments were no longer an estimate but for the most part actually paid out."
