14. In the case of [Appellante] v [Appellante] the court provided the parties with its draft judgment some weeks before it was formally handed down on 11 September 2017. The final Trial Judgment, as published with reference [2017] JRC 146, bears the date 11 September 2017 for that reason. In paragraph 859, the Court listed in brief form the orders it would make and invited the parties to consider the precise wording of the orders. This is because the orders were bound to be complicated and detailed, and to cover a variety of matters, and now that the parties knew from the draft judgment what decisions the court had made in its judgment they would be in a position between them to try to draft appropriate orders for the Court's approval. It is common for the Royal Court to invite the parties to draft an order embodying the court's decision, and making any consequential orders that may be necessary. The Court then decides whether to adopt that wording, or to amend it or draft something completely different, and then the Act of Court is issued.
