"51. The Court recalls that the mutual enjoyment by parent and child of each other's company constitutes an fundamental element of family life and that domestic measures hindering such enjoyment amount to an interference with the right protected by Article 8. That principle applies too, in cases like the present one in which the Court is concerned with the relations between a child and its grandparents, with whom it had lived for a time. It has not been contested that a failure to return the child to its original home clearly amounts to an interference with the applicants rights to respect for their family life, as guaranteed by Article 8 § 1."
