The obtained products were put into a vial containing 10 ml of scintillator to measure specific radio-activity with a scintillation counter. The activities of the present compounds are shown in Table 4 as comparative data, based on the assumption that the activity of mevinolin (sodium salt) as the reference drug is 100.
