‘47. On the basis of sub-paragraph a of this paragraph each State recognizes in its internal law that children born of one of its nationals shall automatically acquire the nationality of that State Party, subject to the possibility of providing for exception in the case of children born outside the territory. Whenever affiliation is dependent on recognition, court order or similar procedures, the nationality may be acquired following the procedure provided for by the internal law of the State Party’.
